Location
Chiddingfold is located 10 miles South of Guildford on the A283. The countryside is a mix of Wealden clay downland, greensand and chalk hills. It has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Scenery (AONB) and is now called the Surrey Hills.
Walkers and cyclists have many long distance pathways to explore with good pubs en-route. For walking, the Greensand Way passes about a mile to the North, and mountain bikers have the hills around Holmbury and Leith Hill to get to grips with.
For art and culture there are superb National Trust properties not so far afield. These include the likes of Petworth House, Arundel castle, Polesden Lacy and Parham. Petworth is also well known for its fine antique shops.
If you are a keen garden enthusiast then the Gertrude Jekyll designed Vann garden is a 2 minute drive away. Ramster (noted for its fabulous Azalias) is also very close.
Within the village itself we have two fine pubs within a few minutes walk, both offering great food.tact info
